You are invited to see the world premier of 'Shooter', a quickly made action film, which was the result of an invitation in April last year, from curating students at de Appel, to Daragh Reeves, to make 'something' in the Bijlmer suburb of Amsterdam.
The outcome is a film that was cast, written, shot, edited and premiered in 8 days. A faithful attempt to make a real movie, based on the hollywood script of the original Shooter, a high budget film playing in the local cinema.
Alas, 2 hours after the premier, the computers that were used to edit the film were stolen and with them, the film was gone too. However the original video tapes were left behind and during a week this September, the film was remade.
